Introducing the New Happy Planner

The Happy Planner is a brand new planner and learning journal designed by Happy to help you to embody the values and principles of our four-day Happy Workplace Leadership Programme.

Hi, we are Happy

We are leading a movement to create happy, empowered and productive workplaces.

How can we help you and your people to find joy in at least 80% of your work?

Keep informed about happy workplaces

Sign up to Henry's monthly Happy Manifesto newsletter, full of tips and inspiration to help you to create a happy, engaged workplace.

Each planner has an embossed yellow faux-leather cover and high-quality 100gsm paper. It has daily, weekly and monthly pages for you to write out your to do lists, gratitudes and lessons learnt, as well as space to reflect on your goals, achievements, important lessons and how you can challenge yourself to do even better. It is full of great advice including the Happy Manifesto principles, inspirational quotes and even has a habit tracker. Each planner lasts six months and is undated so you can start anytime.

Here is a preview of what you can expect to find inside! (You can click each image to view a larger version.)

The soft touch faux leather cover, embossed with the Happy logo

The Happy Journal has a leather-look, soft-touch yellow cover with Happy’s logo embossed on the front. Inside, it has three ribbons and monthly tabs to help you to easily find your place. We have also included a pocket inside the back cover, and a yellow elastic to keep the journal closed while it’s in your bag or briefcase.

The first page has a welcome and introduction message from Happy’s Founder and Chief Happiness Officer, Henry Stewart, and then the 10 principles from Henry’s book, the Happy Manifesto.

There are pages explaining how to use the journal and each of the different aspects, including tips for being more productive, your leadership purpose and 13 behaviours which help build trust. The back also has tips for holding an effective meeting. All of these areas are covered in more detail in our four-day Happy Workplace Leadership Programme but this serves as a great day-to-day reminder!

The journal has provisions for six months’ worth of daily pages, which have space to note your four frogs for the day (or your to do list), what you want to be today, three things that you are grateful for, your important appointments and space for lessons learnt. There are also check boxes to note your water intake and track your 321zero. The whole journal is undated, so you can start using your journal at any point in the year.

Each week has a summary page with space to reflect on what went well, what you could have done even better, what your most important lessons were and who you have thanked, coached or empowered during the week.

A daily page and weekly summary page at the end of each week

Every month has a two-page monthly summary â€” giving you space to reflect on your goals for the next month, what your radical disruption this month will be (what small change you can make, to improve and disrupt your work life) as well as room to reflect on your achievements and lessons from the period.

The weekly and monthly review also have a hand-selected motivational quote to help inspire you on your leadership journey.

At the back of the journal, we have included a Habit Tracker (with space for six months of tracking!), a reading list to keep track of books you have read or wish to read and some lined note pages for you to write any extra thoughts. The lined pages are also perforated, so you can remove them easily if you need to.
