When you insert a video clip into a slide, it is embedded into your presentation – allowing you to edit it, without altering the original file. This means you can shorten the video clip to just show the best bits, rather than having to watch the whole clip.
In our example above, we use a short clip that is only four seconds long – but for longer video clips this can make a real difference to your presentation.
