As part of the Happy Leadership Programme, Revantage’s people learnt about the principles to create a happy and productive workplace, such as trusting your people and coaching them to find their own solutions. (You can read more about these principles in The Happy Manifesto.)
“It has had a massive impact”
Anne Clarke, Senior Vice President People and Culture, explains the impact: “The feedback has been that it was superb. It only finished last month but I feel it has had a massive impact. They are working so much more effectively as a group now.
“They say they really opened up a lot more than they thought they would but they were comfortable with that and it created a bond. They all think Happy is wonderful and they regularly refer to how they came across things on the Happy training.
“As the four days are spread across three months, it doesn’t take so much away from the day job. They also really appreciated the time and effort that this programme represented.
“This is the second company in which I have used Happy’s four-day programme and I would absolutely recommend it to another organisation.”
Some of the feedback from the programme
The feedback from the participants has also been really positive:
- “Cohesive information, all made sense and has made me think about my actions and the way I work”, says Natalie Mitchell
- “Safe environment to be open,” says Eda Alakan
- “Very enriching experience,” says Veronica Santa Londoño
- “Safe and open space to discuss personal and professional matters,” says Natalie Mitchell
So how could this programme have been better? “If we had your facilitator as my boss!” says Louise Gowers.
