As well as being featured on the list of 100 Best Places to Work, Happy has also been recognised in the Spotlight Awards for Wellbeing.
The Sunday Times says: “Happy by name, happy by nature… Happy wants to help clients’ employees ‘find joy in at least 80 per cent of their work’ and it scores 95 per cent on wellbeing questions from its own 22 staff. They overwhelmingly feel the firm cares for their wellbeing, with a new four-day working week of 32 hours. Everyone can choose their own ‘people manager’, which helps them feel happy and safe in their working environment.”
This is the first time that Happy has entered the Sunday Times list. Earlier this year, Happy was recognised as 13th in the 2024 UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Small Businesses and 1st in the 2024 UK’s Best Workplaces for Women™, based on our culture and values.
“There are so many things I like about working for Happy,” says Rebecca Sotomi, one of Happy’s Account Managers. “The biggest one is just the level of trust and autonomy that I have in my role —that I am trusted, both that I know what I’m supposed to do and that I will do it in a timely manner. That level of trust has been really liberating.
“I feel like it’s really encouraged me to thrive and take ownership of my role a lot more, and take ownership of my own development as well, because it’s very much up to me.”
